UP BOARD EXAM: 50000 Students Will not be Allowed

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council has canceled registration of nearly 50,000 students registered for high school and intermediate examinations in February, 2018. Documents of these students, who were registered as a private candidate, were found to be fake in the investigation.

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council Secretary Nina Srivastava told PTI-language that the documents of about 50,000 students were found to be fake in the investigation. Of these, approximately 18,000 students are from the Meerut region. About 12,000 people from Varanasi region, about 11,000 from Allahabad area and about 10,000 students from Gorakhpur area whose documents were found to be fake.

Shrivastav said that the Board will take action against the principals of the schools who have done negligence while uploading the documents. In addition, the board will also summon the reply from the district school inspectors. If the precautions were taken at their level then it would not be possible to cancel the registration on such a large scale.
